Property Description

Claridges Salt Life, formerly known as Claridges 6, is located within a really lovely intimate gated development of just 10 villas literally 2 minutes walk from the stunning beach at Gibbs. This 3 bedroom villa which is over 3100 square foot in size is extremely spacious and has direct access to the beautiful free form swimming pool that is over 3000 square meters in size. The pool is beautiful here and has several waterfall features as well as a gazebo. With only 2 of the 10 villas in the rental pool, Claridges Salt Life makes a great choice for our guests who are looking for a quiet yet luxurious stay.

The gardens at the Claridges development are also worth a mention. They are very mature which ensures that each of the villas has a good level of privacy. They are full of beautiful colourful tropical flowers and shrubs.

One of the best aspects of Claridges Salt Life is the fact that it is just so close to Gibbs Beach.  Gibbs is one of our favourite beaches on the island. It is much quieter than many of the beaches, has lots of natural shade and the water her is always calm and crystal clear.   It is also possible to take long walks along the beach as far as Mullins beach where the very popular Mullins Beach Bar and Restaurant is located.  This is one of the best spots in Barbados to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. It is also possible for our guests at Villas Barbados to avail of an exclusive beach service at a cost of US$15.00 per day for 2 each chairs and one umbrella. 

The décor at Claridges Salt Life is beautiful and has a very luxurious finish. The villa has been impeccably decorated by well known interior designer Archer’s Hall. All three bedrooms are very spacious and are pool and garden facing. Two of the bedrooms are located on the first floor with a balcony and King beds. The ground floor bedroom has two single beds which can also be made up as a twin bed giving Claridges Salt Life great flexibility for both family and adult groups.    

The entrance to Claridges Salt Life is very impressive.  A large marble foyer leads to a very large stair case and also to the beautiful open plan living area.  The finishes of Claridges Salt Life include beautiful dark cedar wood, granite, Italian marble and travertine that together produce a lovely balance of classic and contemporary living space.  

The very modern kitchen is open plan with the living area and leads directly to the lovely covered terrace which has a stunning outdoor sitting area, dining table and some super comfortable day beds for relaxing, enjoying the lovely tropical sun or reading a great book.  This lovely area is very popular with our guests and is also very private due to the mature gardens.

Upstairs on the landing of the first floor, there is a den with a desk and flat screened television should you wish to catch up with some work or just relax in a quiet spot.    There is wireless internet throughout the house too as well as a Sonos music system and Apple TV.

STAFF

When you stay at Claridges Salt Life, our housekeeper will be on hand 5 days per week between the hours of 9am and 5pm. We are also happy to organise pre stocking of the villa on request and our in house pre arrival complimentary concierge department at Villas Barbados will also be delighted to assist you with any requests you might have.   We can organise everything from restaurant bookings, car hire, diving, water sports and excursions.

I loved Claridge villa n6! It is so warmly decorated and it will make you feel at home! The 3 beautiful bedrooms offer comfort and privacy to everyone, the relaxing terrace will be your favorite place unless you prefer to enjoy the pool, or read a book listening to the birds in the gazebo in the garden.. It's a very relaxing place and you are just 2 minute's walk to beautiful Gibbs beach..

Claridges 6 or "Salt Life" is a gem. Just 3 mins walk from Gibbs beach. The new owners have furnished it so beautifully - there's real character & the beautiful lighting on the terrace really add to the ambiance. 3 gorgeous bedrooms each with its own private patio/balcony. I also loved the space at the top of the stairs - extra room for relaxing.. I'd highly recommend.
