High Breeze is one of our favourite villas in Barbados. It is a 5 bedroom ultra luxury villa with private pool and gymnasium located on Polo Ridge which is just over 4 kilometres from Holetown. The redeeming feature of this beautiful Barbados villa which has been recently refurbished to the highest of standards is without a doubt the incredible views. They are unparalleled anywhere on the island and will take your breath away for the duration of your entire stay at High Breeze.
High Breeze is located on an elevated site above the very prestigious west coast of Barbados. Behind the house are the official grounds of the Barbados Polo Club. If you are a polo lover, then there is definitely no better place to be. But you don’t have to love polo to love High Breeze. It is one of the most beautiful villas on the island and located just minutes to the beach at Payne’s Bay and less than a 10 minute drive to Holetown where you will find many lovely designer shops, local boutiques and both fine dining and casual restaurants.
The entrance to High Breeze is very impressive. The huge double doors bring you directly to the extremely spacious living room which in turn flows beautifully onto the terrace, pool and gardens. The living room has a double height ceiling with vaulted beams giving a great sense of opulence and space. The local coral stone interiors exude Caribbean luxury and chic. Up a few steps, brings you to a mezzanine floor where there is an office/study area. It is perfect if you need to keep up with some work whilst away and at the same time enjoy the view. French doors open out to the very spacious and covered veranda.
The covered terrace is one of the best on the island for entertaining friends and family. Not only has it got a beautiful and relaxed sitting area but it also has a fully stocked wet bar. The terrace also has a very nice dining area with seating for up to 10 people. This space is ideal for breakfast and casual meals. Off the terrace, there is a separate and very comfortable television room should you wish to watch the latest block buster whilst on vacation.
One of our favourite features of this luxury Barbados Villa rental is pool area, the huge wooden deck and the outdoor dining gazebo. The pool is surrounded by ultra comfortable double and single bedded sun loungers and umbrellas. At the end of the pool is a small children’s pool which is ideal for the younger visitors to the house. The wooden deck is positioned perfectly to take full advantage of the amazing views. The whole area is wonderful for relaxing, reading a book, enjoying the wonderful tropical sun or just taking time out to enjoy the incredible vistas below of the west coast of the island and the shimmering turquoise sea beyond.
Another wonderful feature of this beautiful villa is the dining gazebo. It is absolutely stunning and perfect for a special occasion or dinner under the stars. At night time when the gazebo is lit by candlelight, it has a lovely romantic atmosphere. There’s a dining table seating up to 14 people in the pavilion and our guests from Villas Barbados have love having dinners here with family and friends.
Each of the 5 bedrooms in High Breeze are extremely luxurious but the Master bedroom warrants some extra special attention. It is located at the front of the house to take full advantage of the views. Double doors open right up to the terrace and pool area. The bathroom is huge with a feature bath located in the middle of the room. 3 of the bedrooms are located in the main house with a further two bedrooms in the guest cottage. The cottage is fully self contained and is ideal for older children or for couples or adults who wish to have their own privacy whilst on vacation. The two bedrooms in the guest cottage have direct access to a terrace with views to the garden and polo field. All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with touches of island colours and playful prints.
If you like to keep fit whilst on vacation, then High Breeze is a great choice. The pool is large enough to do laps and the villa has one of the best equipped fully air-conditioned gymnasiums on the island. The views from the gym is incredible and will no doubt make your work out much more pleasurable as a result!
It is good to know that it is possible to rent the house with either 3 or 5 bedrooms.

High Breeze has a great team to look after your every need and request on holiday. Overseen by the High Breeze Butler, the team also includes a cook who has a great reputation for her cooking and 2 housekeepers who take great pride in ensuring that the house is immaculate at all times.
There is also a villa manager who will be able to assist you with any special requests whilst you are staying in Barbados. Our team at Villas Barbados will also be delighted to assist you with any pre arrival items you might like to organise. This service is complimentary and includes for example VIP airport meet and greet, car hire, restaurant reservations, excursions bookings, water sports and boat charters.

Unavailable Before booking our holiday, we loved what High Breeze offered and we weren't disappointed! The villa and it's setting is idyllic. Arnold and his staff have been so incredibly helpful and their warmth and constant smiles made it even better. It's a little bit of paradise and we'd love to come back!
High Breeze was beyond our expectations. The staff was phenomenal! Everything was perfect. We had absolutely no complaints except our stay was too short and went too quickly!!!
