La Mirage at Old Trees is a four bedroom ultra luxury beach front penthouse located on Payne’s Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Barbados. It is also without a doubt one of the most beautiful vacation rental properties on the island.
A private lift from the ground floor brings you directly to the entrance of the La Mirage. You will immediately get a sense of incredible space and openness as the living room opens seamlessly into the gorgeous terrace with its roof top pool and incredible views of the ocean and beach. This is undoubtedly where you will spend much of your vacation. Either sunbathing on one of the super comfortable sun beds, enjoying delicious meals with friends and family, taking a cooling dip in your private plunge pool or watching the amazing sunsets with a rum cocktail or glass of champagne in hand.
La Mirage has two of the best master bedrooms suites we have ever come across. They are both identical in size with private terraces, sitting areas and have the most incredible views of the sea. There is no better way to wake up in Barbados then to this view and the soothing sounds of the ocean. The third and fourth bedrooms can both be made up with two single beds or a King bed. La Mirage therefore has great flexibility to accommodate either four couples or two small families.
Another lovely aspect of this Barbados vacation rental is due to its location on the top floor of the Old Trees development, you will find the trade winds provide a soft cooling breeze throughout the day and evening.
La Mirage is in the beautifully maintained Old Trees Development. There is a lovely communal free form swimming pool and beautifully maintained gardens which are full of tropical flowers. Each morning The Old Trees Beach butler prepares the beach and sun beds for the exclusive use of the residents of Old Trees. He will also be on hand during the day to ensure your every comfort.
Last but not least is the location of La Mirage is hard to beat on the island of Barbados. Payne’s Bay beach which is accessed by a private stairway is literally steps from La Mirage and is one of the finest beaches on the island. It is possible to walk along the beach to several well known restaurants and bars including Daphne’s. In low tide, it is also possible to walk as far as the famous Sandy Lane Hotel. Please note you will require reservations should you wish to have lunch or dinner at the hotel. Holetown is also just minutes away from Old Trees. This is where you will find some of the finest shopping on the island including the beautiful Limegrove Shopping Centre full of designer shops. The Holetown Chattel Shops are also close by where you will find plenty of fashionable and novelty items to buy. There is also an excellent selection of both fine dining and local restaurants and bars to choose from in Holetown

STAFF: La Mirage come with expertly trained staff including a cook, housekeeper (6 days per week) and villa manager who is available on request during the hours of 8.30 and 16.30. There is also a beach butler for the Old Trees Development. They will all ensure that you have the most relaxing and memorable vacation possible.

Unavailable We just returned from an amazing week in Barbados. We stayed at La Mirage which is a four bedroom villa located on the top floor. Everything about our holiday was perfect. The view was breathtaking and we loved having our own private pool on the terrace. Every day we would go down to the beach and our beach beds were perfectly prepared by Adrian and Tony. One day we actually swam with Turtles from Paynes Bay. Everyone loved that. We also like the fact that you can walk along the beach to several of our favorite restaurants. I can highly recommend this villa and hope that we will be back. Thank you Exceptional Villas for all your help.
Perfect setting for a dream holiday, this oceanfront four bedroom penthouse delivered on all my expectations and more. I have had daily housekeeping before, but never a personal cook. I had no idea that I would so enjoy this service. Both Earleen (housekeeper) and Shanell (cook) were delightful yet completely unobtrusive. The meals, mainly fresh fish and salads, highlighted local specialties and flavours. This was my fifth Barbados vacation, three of them at Paynes Bay and I look forward to returning to this property!
We had a wonderful vacation in Barbados. The property is beautiful and the location is unbeatable. The fast track at the airport was a godsend as we got through immigration super fast and arrived in La Mirage in time for sunset! Rowena and Yvonne at Exceptional Villa were extremely helpful and professional. We will book with them again
La Mirage is in my opinion one of the most beautiful properties in Barbados. The two master bedrooms are two of the best I have ever inspected. Both equal in size, they each open directly onto the Terrace and view of the beach and sea. They each have walk in wardrobes and over sized bathrooms. There is no more wonderful place to wake up. The location on Paynes Bay is also amazing. Just a short walk to Daphne's Restaurants in one direction and Sandy Lane Hotel in the other. Make sure to go in low tide thought. With four bedrooms, La Mirage is ideal for 2 families or a Honeymoon from Heaven.
