Welcome to Martello House, a magnificent 8-bedroom villa that overlooks the Platinum West Coast of Barbados and boasts a spectacular view of the sparkling blue of the Caribbean.
This stunning home is overlooking the Royal Westmoreland Golf Course. Nearby, you can easily access to the Sandy Lane Beach where you can sunbath or go for a swim in the gorgeous turquoise Caribbean sea. For those who enjoy playing golf we recommend going to the Royal Westmoreland which is just 2km away from your villa.
Rolling up the driveway past the towering palms on either side, the curvature of the villa’s structure lends itself both to the beauty of the villa, as well as its design; the expansive terrace takes advantage of the sweeping circumference, the whole of Barbados’ west coast unfurling before it. The terrace itself encourages guests to take full liberties in marveling at the display, in the form of sun loungers, an array of outdoor seating, and of course the infinity edge swimming pool, one of the best spots to soak up the sun while enjoying the blissfully cool water.
Inside, Martello House embraces the island lifestyle in its décor, with an element of elegance blended with it. Several areas in the house devoted to social gatherings and relaxing in, including the lounge, media room and the terrace, giving everyone tons of space to chill out, either gathered together or enjoying your own company. A chef-grade kitchen brings the delightful flavours of Barbados to the villa itself, and with a complement of staff to provide, the hardest part about dinner is waiting for it. Choices to dine are not limited either; taking your plate to the dining table on the terrace, with the Caribbean as a backdrop, is possibly the most appealing option of them all.
All eight bedrooms of the house enjoy luxurious beds and bedding, comfort guaranteed. Each room is also equipped with its own sizeable en-suite bathroom for added privacy. Several rooms have balcony or terrace access, either to the pool terrace or overlooking the beautifully tended garden. The sheer size of the villa makes it suitable for a variety of group options, from large families with extended family for celebrating special occasions or significant events, to a sizeable party of friends exploring Barbados, and everything in-between. Overlooking the Platinum Coast area of Barbados, known for its beautiful white sand and its popularity among celebrities and stars of the silver screen. Ideally placed for both privacy and security, Martello House lies off the beaten track of regular tourist routes, while allowing guests easy access to all Barbados has to offer. Speightstown lies north, Holetown to the south. Holetown is the closest area to the villa for retail therapy, with a plethora of shops, restaurants, boutiques, spas and much more, just a quick 5-minute drive away. A multitude of golf courses are also within easy reach. Thanks to the unique land formation of Barbados, there’s plenty of natural wonders on display, like Harrison’s Cave, an underground limestone cavern, or Barbados Wildlife Reserve, which allows visitors to stroll through the land natural habitat of these exotic indigenous creatures.
