Smugglers Cove 4 is a lovely 3-bedroom beachfront property with access to a communal pool and tropical gardens located on one of Barbados's best beaches. Smugglers 4 is one of 7 luxury properties within the Smugglers Cove Development. The Smugglers Development is not only one of the most exclusive on the island of Barbados, but it is also located on Payne's Bay Beach what is arguably the best beach on the island.
Paynes Bay Beach is famous for its clear and calm turquoise waters and soft white sands. It is one of the only beaches where you can swim offshore and watch turtles feeding. Besides, there are several excellent restaurants, and the famous Sandy Lane Hotel is strolling distance from Smugglers Cove. Neighbors of Smugglers Cove include other similar exclusive developments such as Old Trees, The One at St James and standalone villas like New Mansion. Another thing that makes this location so sought after is the fact that it is so close to Holetown. In Holetown, you will find a fantastic selection of excellent restaurants, bars, nightlife, designer shops and local boutiques.
The architecture of the building is very synonymous with Caribbean and Barbados style through the use of local open coral stone. The décor of Smugglers 4 is ultra-luxurious and modern. The soft furnishings are made from muted tones and offset with bold, dramatic colors. Beautiful, unique pieces of local art adorn the walls.
The living room opens fully to the enormous terrace through the use of folding glass doors. This ability to open the living room entirely creates a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors. The terrace is enormous and has a super comfortable sitting area which is perfect for relaxing, enjoying the view or sipping a refreshing cocktail as the sun goes down. The terrace is also home to the main dining area which can seat up to 6 people. Guests love to enjoy delicious meals created by their cook as they simultaneously enjoy the spectacular view and the sounds of the sea lapping on the shore.

Smugglers 4 has three luxurious en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom has its location at the front of the property and consequently has beautiful views of the ocean and beach. Double doors open directly onto the terrace where guest can enjoy relaxing in the lovely Barbados warmth. Bedroom 2 and 3 both have a private balcony. The Italian Marble bathrooms are very modern luxurious in keeping with the rest of the property.
Smugglers 4 has direct access to the beach via internal steps on the side of the building. These steps add significantly to the convenience of going to the beach as guests do not have to leave the premises via the front door each time, they wish to visit the beach or the pool area. The mature gardens lead via a private gate to the beach. The Smugglers Cove development has its designated section of the beach and each morning the Beach Butler will organize the beds and sunshades for you.
For complete peace of mind, Smugglers Cove provides 24-hour security as well as an internal security system.
Smugglers 4 is an excellent choice for both families and guests who enjoy vacation time spent relaxing on a stunning tropical beach. It is also perfect for those who love to be a little more active with plenty of water sports available and great early morning walks on a virtually deserted beach. Golf can be arranged at either Sandy Lane or Royal Westmoreland and fishing, and sailing excursions are also available nearby.

Smugglers Cove is located directly on Paynes Bay Beach which is widely considered to be one of the Best Beaches on the island of Barbados. The beach is a perfect crescent-shaped lined with mature trees, soft white sands and waters that are almost always calm and turquoise in color. There is a variety of water sports available on the beach, and Paynes Bay is one of the best places to swim with turtles. Good swimmers can swim from the shore and watch these beautiful creatures feeding. Paynes Bay has a great foot in the sand beach bar perfect for sunset cocktails. We just loved Smugglers Cove #4! I don't often say it but it exceeded our expectations! The pictures just don't do it justice.. We loved this spot right on the beach & were so well looked after by the beach butlers. All the staff were so kind to us. Thanks Julie for all the concierge help - Lana was great at the concierge desk at Smugglers too. Oh the views! so perfect. We really hope to return. Many thanks.
We had a ball at Smugglers Cove! No.4 is just on the 1st floor so we enjoyed the ocean views while having breakfast. Our cook was a lovely obliging lady & kept the villa spotless. My sister loved walking the beach while I loved relaxing on the sunloungers! We ate at Cin Cin & The Tides - both excellent. Holetown is only a few mins away on the yellow bus - what an experience!
Exceptional Villas - and Yvonne and Julie in particular - were wonderful regarding our recent trip to Barbados. I asked Yvonne and two other reps of the same villa and another one a whole set of questions regarding the place, and she was by far the most attentive, diligent and accurate in her answers. The arrangements for our arrival were beautifully executed, with great attention to detail, including Customs, making sure we knew where we were going, arranging for dinner to be waiting when we arrived, orienting us in the villa and the building and so forth. I don't think I have ever felt so pampered. The added value of Exceptional Villas and the people who took care of us (Krystle, Roslyn, and Lana particularly) made the price well worth it

Hi Julie, Our time all went well at Smugglers Cove and the housekeeper Kerrie Ann was excellent. All the arrangements went well and your service was excellent. We would stay at Smugglers again but perhaps try a larger apartment.. Steve and I particularly enjoyed being in an apartment and it was good to try should we wish to spend a longer time in Barbados in the winter. The beach staff were also very helpful and efficient. The location is very good and the swimming area lovely.
Smugglers Cove no 4 is one of the nicest 3 bedroom units at Smugglers. The views and location are unbeatable. The sitting area has doors that lead out to the terrace and here is where you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast overlooking the beach and watching the world go by. I particularly like the decor used in this villa. It uses striking reds and wonderful Caribbean colours. The villa is modern yet cosy and is located on the 2nd floor. The beach butler David is always on hand to look after you.
Smugglers Cove 4 is really gorgeous. I'd highly recommend to families or friends/couples travelling together.. it represents real beachfront luxury. The terrace is huge - such a wonderful space to relax with amazing seaviews - the water is so pristine here! There are TV's in all the bedrooms and the furnishings & bathrooms are really high end. Otteen is the lovely housekeeper/cook - she takes great care of everyone. Also worth noting there's a great beach service provided by David & Stephen, 24 hour security & a delightful concierge lady called Lana onsite to assist guests with everything from restaurant bookings to day trips etc...she's a mind of information!
