Welcome to Waverly One, a pretty three bedroom / two bathroom town house with a private plunge pool making it an ideal luxury retreat combining authentic coral stone walls and suave sea shore charm.
Located right on the silver beach of Gibbs Bay, one of the West coast’s many magnificent beaches this cottage comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. The warm, powdery sands are just steps from the villa and can be accessed through a garden gate at the end of the private garden. Gibbs beach is a beautiful, crescent shaped beach with calm water making it safe for swimming and snorkeling, and the expanse of soft sand under foot allows for glorious sunset walks. Whilst the beach on the doorstep is a big draw, the villa itself offers a secluded haven that fully embraces island living at its’ best.
The open plan living room / dining room benefits from multiple folding doors that open onto the terrace and garden beyond, allowing the cooling tropical breeze to flow in. The pretty coral stone of the exterior continues throughout the residence and is complemented by pastel hues to create a light and airy ambience. A modern, fully equipped kitchen allows for seamless entertaining and offers everything you need to recreate your favourite dishes, though Christmas and Winter bookings do include the services of a cook who will look after your meal arrangements, allowing you to completely switch off from the kitchen and be spoilt with local culinary delights.
Each of the 3 bedrooms are decorated in calming hues of cream, white and pastels creating a tranquil sleeping environment. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned with the additional comfort of ceiling fans. The Master double bedroom includes wide opening doors which lead out onto a charming private balcony. A second double bedroom opens out directly onto the delightful terrace, whilst the third bedroom has twin beds making it an ideal choice for children.
The exterior of Waverly One incorporates an elegant terrace, complete with private plunge pool offering the perfect place to maximize indoor/outdoor living. The pretty terrace features a dining table for enjoying alfresco dining under the stars. The nearby plunge pool sparkles in the sunshine and a built-in wet-bar and barbecue complete the outdoor amenities. Beyond the terrace, the high walls surrounding the garden offers a private sanctuary that is just steps from the white sand and turquoise waters of Gibbs.

Waverly One is ideally located on the ‘Platinum’ West Coast of Barbados, and offers easy access to the pristine, white sands of Gibbs Beach which stretches northwards towards the popular Mullins Bay. The calm turquoise waters make for safe swimming, and the bay offers an endless expanse of white sand for strolling or just working on a wonderful tan. For the more energetic, there is an abundance of water sports available on the nearby Mullins beach.
As a guest of this villa, you will be superbly positioned, just a few minutes’ drive from Speightstown, a charming and vibrant center of activity featuring many historical buildings and 15 minutes’ drive from Holetown, where you will find some of the best shopping in Barbados. Holetown also offers a fine selection of bars and restaurants to choose from, duty free shopping as well as many high-end stores and boutiques to browse.
For the more active guest, there are superb sporting facilities close by, including fabulous tennis facilities and a gym at nearby Holetown and wonderful golf courses including three beautiful courses at Sandy Lane and a further, very challenging course at Royal Westmoreland which boasts an ocean view from every hole.

Unavailable Spent 10 nights here with my wife and 2 boys. House was well maintained, the staff were lovely and the beautiful Gibbs beach is at the end of the garden. Definitely recommend it for a beach holiday.
