Westhaven is a beautiful four bedroom beach front villa with pool located directly on Gibb’s beach on the very exclusive West coast of Barbados. Gibbs beach is one of the nicest and also one of the quietest beaches on the island. Westhaven is also one of our personal favourite villas within the Villas Barbados portfolio and one of our clients most popular.
The villa itself has a really wonderful balance between luxury and opulence. It is beautifully maintained and has every possible luxury you might need for your vacation but also has a wonderful laid back feel. Westhaven brings a new fresh elegance to the classic tropical island vacation home with a successful marriage between traditional Caribbean construction techniques and the latest in contemporary design. It is the kind of place where you can feel immensely relaxed and immensely pampered.
There are four beautiful en-suite fully air conditioned bedrooms in Westhaven. Three of the bedrooms are located on the first floor with the fourth on the ground floor. The two bedrooms at the front of Westhaven are equal in size and have access to a beautiful shared terrace and absolutely stunning views. The third and fourth bedroom each have their own lovely terraces with garden views. The bedroom on the ground floor has its own side entrance and is perfect for adult children or guests who wish to have a bit more privacy or independence.
The living room is a large open room with two distinct sitting areas. On one side there are super comfortable sofa and chairs where you can enjoy the flat screened television. The other is equally lovely and a great spot to relax or enjoy the company of your friends and family. It is a truly lovely space and flows seamlessly to the gorgeous outdoor terrace, beautiful tropical garden and onto the lovely beach and turquoise sea.
The terrace is where our guests at Villas Barbados spend much of their time. It has a lovely sheltered dining table to seat up 8 people and as well as a very comfortable sitting area to enjoy pre dinner or sun down cocktails. To the right of the villa is a wonderful pool which is surrounded by super comfortable sun beds and chaise longue as well as another smaller dining area which is perfect for a more casual breakfast for morning coffee. The sun beds may also be taken down to the beach if you prefer to enjoy the sun with the sea lapping at your feet. The gardens are beautiful and mature and full of lovely tropical flowers and shrubs.
There is a large modern and fully equipped kitchen that opens outwards to the dining area making it very easy to enjoy meals, snacks and refreshing drinks all day long.
There’s wi-fi throughout the villa not just in the living area! Weshaven is truly a dream like idyllic villa right on the remote and peaceful and most desirable beach at Gibbs.

STAFF
The team at Westhaven are really experienced and hardworking and all our clients at Villas Barbados love them. They comprise of Angela and Melissa the housekeeper and laundress. Cheryl is the excellent cook and she will prepare three meals per day, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Unavailable Dear Linda and Julie, Our feet are firmly on British soil having had a very special holiday at Westhaven with our friends.our children and our grandchildren. It is true to say that without the huge backup we received from you both before the holiday and during it many things would have gone wrong and we would have been much less relaxed. Whether booking the car (which was difficult enough),giving us full local information, arranging restaurants etc.etc etc you could not have made it easier for us or more enjoyable. I cannot remember a time when I did not receive a reply to an email or query within a few minutes of sending it and this included New Years Eve when you, Linda, were just off to a party!!! Many replies were at GMT bedtime such that I wondered where you were only to learn it was Ireland!! The same applied to you. Julie, and I dont think you missed a trick! Interestingly, your very quick response landed the booking in the first place because my original enquiry went to three agents and you were by far the quickest off the mark. You are an excellent team and I could not have wanted for more. Thank you both. Your help and efficiency extended to viewing villas for next year. Undoubtedly we will return and we have a list of the villas we would like to take to take. Again, because of your enthusiasm and help we will rent through you and only you. The friends who joined us wanted us to share with them next year and we have declined in favour of going East. Westhaven is a beautiful spot. The view, rooms, layout are great for particularly groups of 5 - 8. The key though is the staff - BRILLIANT. Cheryl, Angela, Margaret and Justin are simply the BEST I have ever seen. As I said in the guest book - family.

I just fell in love with Westhaven. What a location. Gibbs is just gorgeous and having our own pool aswell was brilliant. Its right up there with the ultimate beach rentals. Great for families or friends who love beach life & enjoy stunning ocean views..
