Welcome to the beautiful Bonavista, one of the most sought after beachfront villa’s located on the exclusive West Coast of Barbados. It doesn’t take long for guests to settle in here with wonderful mature gardens for privacy and the sounds of the ocean for tranquillity. Steps from the villa you will find Gibbs Beach, one of the many sandy beaches of the St Peter’s region.
Bonavista is set on 2 levels with a formal living room that opens out onto the spacious lounge area of the terrace. The décor of the house is modern featuring plenty of plush seating, beige walls and roman tiled floors. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with the most up to date stainless steel appliances.
There are 4 elegant bedrooms in this luxury Barbados property, you will find the master bedroom on the first floor and it boasts a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and a balcony with incredible views of the West Coast. Here you can relax with a good book and a cold beverage and watch the world go by. The second bedroom also has a king bed with en-suite and a lovely garden view. On the lower level there is a king-sized bedroom that opens out onto the beachfront, while the other room features two twin beds.
Like most Caribbean villas, the outside area is of most importance and Bonavista comes complete with a large covered terrace, glistening swimming pool and your own wet bar. Spend your days sunbathing beside the pool while reading a good book and sipping on an ice-cold drink. If you need to cool down you have a choice of the pool or the Caribbean Sea which is just steps away and safe to swim in. There are also beach chairs on the sand for your enjoyment.
Al Fresco dining is also a must here so many morning and evenings will be spent with family and friends eating the best Barbados cuisine and enjoying each other’s company. Cocktails around the pool in the evenings while watching another Caribbean spectacular sunset. A Roman-styled fountain is also a highlight of this luxury Barbados villa.
Bonavista Villa is set on Gibbs beach which is one of the most pristine white sandy beach on the island. Mullins Beach is also close to the house and offers plenty of water sports activities such as jet skis, water skiing, tubing etc. There is also a great restaurant overlooking the beach that serves local food and has live music some nights. Holetown is 15 minutes away and here you will find all the great shops, cafes and eateries. For those without a car it’s handy to know that there is a bus stop close to the villa and taxies are plentiful.
STAFF
Our team at Bonavista are really experienced and hardworking and all our clients at Villas Barbados love them. The team comprises of Janet who cooks the most sumptuous dishes and Alana the housekeeper and laundress. Edwin is the gardener and is a wonderful person to chat to.

Unavailable We have just gotten back from our trip to Barbados and the Bonavista. We had a wonderful time. It was just perfect. My son and his wife had the twins in the large bedroom upstairs (the only room with a TV). The TV kept the boys quiet until it was a decent time for the rest of the family to get up. It was so special to have the whole family together. The weather could not have been any better. The twins had a ball playing in the pool and then going to the beach to dig in the sand. Their swimming improved so much that we were able to take them out on the boat excursion to feed the turtles. We found a boat that was significantly less expensive called Barbados Blue. No lunch was served but we did not need or want that with the boys. The people that worked at the house Janet, Claudia and Fabian were so pleasant and helpful. The gardener kept the villa in tip top shape. We rented two paddle boards which worked out very well. All in all it was an "exceptional" vacation and we thank you so much. We have recommended it to several of our friends already.
Thank you Janet, Claudia and Fabian for treating us so kindly during our week here at Bonavista. We loved the villa, pool and beach as well as all of the kind people we met from here on the beach. We wish we could stay longer. We will be back for sure!!
Your assistance and guidance in planning and preparing for the trip was truly exceptional. Our favorite part of the trip was probably the wonderful beach house and amazing location on Gibbs Beach. The staff of Janet, Claudia, Fabian and Rhonda were wonderful and we completely enjoyed all of the Bajan people we met. What a warm, friendly and welcoming people and island.
