Casablanca is one of our valued customers and our villa experts favourite villas located within the Sandy Lane Estate. It is for good reason. Casablanca is a 7 bedrooms ultra luxury villa with absolutely stunning gardens, tennis court, infinity pool and access to the most exclusive beach on the island at the Sandy Lane Hotel.
The villa itself is truly beautiful and will literally take your breath away. As soon as you enter the electric gate of this Barbados Villa, you will know you have arrived somewhere special. The driveway and entrance are very impressive and the villa is run like a beautiful boutique hotel. The huge double doors open to a very impressive hallway and directly onto the living room, terrace and pool providing an airy sense of living space. There are several lovely sitting areas which are idea for both small and large groups as well as for plenty of places if you would like to have some alone time.
The décor is very contemporary and full of modern and wonderful pieces of unique art work. Casablanca offers its guests a rare combination of beautiful furnishings, fine art, dramatic lighting and a very chic layout that comes with the loving touch of its owner’s attention to detail and design.
The kitchen is very spacious, modern and open plan with stainless steel appliances. There is a central island which has ample space for taking a relaxed breakfast or snack. This area is ideal if you have an early morning tee of time on the Sandy Lane Golf course.
The pool and garden areas are particularly gorgeous. There is a wonderful sense of space around the gardens which are full of beautifully smelling bougainvillea and other tropical flowers that fill the air with their wonderful aroma. The infinity edge pool is very large and perfect if you would like to take a proper swim but also wonderful for a relaxing dip. It is surrounded by ultra comfortable pristine white sun loungers. At the end of the garden there is a lovely dining Gazebo should you wish to eat outside under the stars surrounded by the gardens and sounds of the tropics.
Casablanca is a great villa for entertaining and we have even had clients from Villas Barbados who we organised an amazing steel pan band for their group.
The terrace at Casablanca is one of the highlights of the villa. It features a formal dining area with a gorgeous circular glass topped table. The area is lit by a stunning and dramatic iron chandelier and overlooks the lovely infinity edge pool. The terrace also has its own sitting area with plus couches, chandeliers made from crystals and unique artistic décor. There is a beautiful bar area with high stools here too perfect for an after golf chat or sun down cocktails.
The accommodation comprises of 5 bedrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms in the guest cottages totally 7. They are all equally beautiful and luxurious. The guest cottage is located close by to the left of the main house.
The master suite with King Bed has a sitting area, dramatic trey ceilings and oversized walk in closet is located on the first floor and is really gorgeous with a private balcony that has a cooling breeze and exquisite views over the golf course. The master bathroom is extremely luxurious with a large marble bath and rain shower.
There is a second queen bed upstairs. The other three bedrooms in the main house are located downstairs and they each open onto a shared patio.
Bedrooms 6 and 7 are in the guest cottage and are equal standard to the bedrooms in the main house. Each of the bedrooms throughout the whole house is decorated with white and individual accents of bright colours. The guest cottage is completely self contained with a small kitchen, television and living area and lovely floor to ceiling windows so guests can relax and enjoy the gardens at their best.
In addition, there is a private fully equipped gymnasium with a large range of weights, tread mill, bikes and exercise equipment. There is also an Astroturf tennis court and paddle court for guests use.
Casablanca also has a lovely media room that features super comfortable seating, a flat screened television, Apple TV and various board games and books. There is also an entertainment bar for ease of access to cold drinks or snacks.
Of course one of the best parts of staying at Casablanca is the fact that you have access to the very prestigious beach at the Sandy Lane Hotel. The house comes with a cabana and sun beds and sun umbrellas. Anytime, you decide you would like to spend the day on the beach, your butler or housekeeper will organise every detail for you. When you stay at Casablanca, you will also have access to the tennis centre at the Sandy Lane hotel as well as the golf course. All spa treatments will need to be booked well in advance and our concierge at Villas Barbados will be delighted to help you with that.
STAFF
The team at Casablanca are second to none. They comprise Tania, Lashelle, Alicia, Terry and the amazing chef Cameron. Cameron works 6 days per week and prepares both lunch and dinner for our guests at Villas Barbados. During the winter months you will have a full time butler on hand as well as a housekeeper who both work 6 days per week. In the summer, you will be looked after by both the chef and the housekeeper 6 days per week.
In addition there is an excellent villa manager on call for the duration of your stay that will assist you with all your special requirements. The villas Barbados team and concierge department will also be delighted to organise all your pre arrival requirements with our compliments.

Decided to take the family away before the Festive season for 7 nights. I have stayed Beachfront in Barbados many times before so decided to take a 7 bedroom property in Sandy Lane Estate for a change. After lots of deliberations, we chose Casablanca and were delighted with the choice. The house was kept immaculately, wonderful swimming pool, the BEST food I have ever tasted and the staff were awesome! From the minute we landed at the door to the sad moment we departed everything was top notch. It was the staff who really made this vacation so Darick, Gaynelle and the rest of the staff, we thank you for such a memorable time at Casablanca. We will be back again !!!
We were very impressed with Casablanca. The villa is truly beautiful. We were 14 people in total and used the guest cottage. We were slightly anxious that our guest in the cottage might not be happy but the two bedrooms are of equal standard to the 5 bedrooms in the main house. Yvonne from Exceptional Villas was extraordinarily helpful and Julie organized everything for us. We especially appreciated the fast track service at the airport and avoided standing in line for hours. Gaynelle was our Butler and she could not have been more helpful. We loved this villa and can highly recommend it.

I found Casablanca very stunning..From the pool area, to the bedrooms & living the spaces. The decor is contemporary, bright & modern. Everything is top of the range.
I think the pool & terrace area are super for entertaining & what a bonus to have your own tennis court & gym. Charmaine & her team take great care of everyone. The beach cabana at Sandy Lane beach is another hit.

Casablanca is a gorgeous 7 bedroom villa. % of the bedrooms are in the main house and 2 in a guest cottage which is of equal standard to the main house. The gardens and pool are stunning. There is also a tennis court and a fully equipped gym. We have had many of our discerning clients stay at Casablanca and all of them have been happy.
I visited Casablanca again as the owners had changed - just a short note to say it's looking just wonderful! There's such a wonderful feel to this villa, its real indoor/outdoor living in complete luxury! The new owners have some really beautiful art & have also added table tennis! A wonderful choice for a large family or gathering of friends. PS: the pictures of a certain princess have moved on!
Casablanca is a wonderful property for family and friends to reunite at. New owners have recently acquired the villa and have added their own personal touches. Along with spacious luxury bedrooms, you have a gym, tennis course and oversized swimming pool at your disposal as well as membership to the Sandy Lane beach club.
Casablanca is the perfect villa for a large family! It is luxurious and elegant. The pool and outdoor gazebo is the perfect place to spend the day. I really loved the gym and this villa also has access to the Sandy Lane beach - my favorite beach on the West coast!
