Eden on the Sea at Merlin Bay is one of our best value and most popular 3 bedroom beach front villas located on the beautiful west coast of Barbados. It has 3 lovely en-suite bedrooms, a plunge pool, access to a beautiful communal lagoon type swimming pool and unobstructed views of the amazing turquoise Caribbean Sea.
Eden on the Sea is part of a small and private development of just 8 villas. The beach here is particularly lovely and one of the quietest on the island. The sea which is rimmed with soft white sands is calm and perfect for swimming. It also has the advantage of having some lovely natural shade due to the presence of beautiful ancient Mahogany and Machineel trees.
The pool which is surrounded by super comfortable sun beds is also one of the prettiest pools we have seen. The gardens surrounding each of the villas and the pool to the sea are full of colourful tropical flowers and sweet smelling shrubs.
The villa itself has been recently refurbished and is now one of the most sought after villas within the Merlin Bay community. Eden on the Sea has the feel of a private beach house even though it is part of a development.
The décor is lovely and bright and the villa is set over three levels and four if you include the lovely roof top terrace. You enter Eden on the Sea via the living and open plan kitchen area which opens onto a lovely terrace and dining area. Because of the elevation of the villa, it has particularly lovely sea views from all three levels.
Eden on the Sea has three lovely air-conditioned bedrooms. The Master King bedroom is located at the front of the villa on the second floor and has a nice balcony and fabulous sea views. The second bedroom on this floor has a Queen bed with garden views. The third bedroom also with King bed can act as a second Master and is located on the ground floor. This room is particularly spacious and has the advantage of opening up directly onto a lovely terrace and plunge pool. Eden on the Sea therefore makes the perfect chose for both families and couples alike.
Eden on the Sea also has a lovely roof top terrace with sun loungers. This is the perfect spot to enjoy the lovely tropical sun, relax or read a great book in a very private place.
Additional facilities at Eden on the Sea include a really good barbeque, wireless internet, car parking and flat screened television.
STAFF
There is a fantastic villa team that looks after this property to ensure it is kept at a very high standard. Housekeeping is included two mornings per week, though additional housekeeping and a cook service can be arranged at an extra fee if required.
