Shoestring Villa is a charming 3-bedroom luxury Barbados Beach Front Villa located directly on Gibbs Beach. Gibbs Beach is recognized widely as one of the best beaches in Barbados. It is one of the only pure residential beaches on the island. This beach is where many of Barbados’s best rental properties have their location. It is possible to walk from Gibbs Beach to Mullins Bay Beach, where there is a great new restaurant called The Sea Shed.
The sense of calm and tranquility is immediate from the first moment of arrival. There is a beautiful marble bridge over a Koi pond full of exquisite fish and water lilies. The bridge leads to a large wooden door opening to the open plan living area. The view to the turquoise calm seas beyond is breathtaking.
Barbados’s original chattel houses inspired the architecture of Shoestring Villa. The layout has simple lines with super contemporary interiors. Shoestring Villa Barbados has beautiful wood-panelled ceilings and slatted walls which ensure that the cooling trade winds flow through the house. The walls are off-set with oversized glass doors which provide extensive views to the lovely gardens and beach. Smooth granite finishes provide a juxtaposition next to the glass for a chic and sophisticated feel.
The downstairs living area is open plan providing a feeling of space. There are two seating areas within the room. The main area has super comfortable sofas clustered around a beautiful Noguchi Coffee table. The other sitting area has a flat-screened television and is perfect for watching TV or reading a great book. The fully equipped kitchen is super modern with sleek surfaces.
The living areas lead directly onto the garden which has plenty of natural shade from local mahogany trees. There are sun loungers scattered throughout the garden as well as a barbeque. A few steps through a private gate leads to the beautiful Gibbs beach. The beach is pristine with golden sands and ringed with swaying palms providing natural shade. The waters are calm and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters, lie on the soft white sands and read a book or take a stroll down to Mullins Bay for some watersports. The choice is yours.
Shoestring Villa has three beautiful bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their location on the ground floor, and the third bedroom take up the whole of the first floor of the house. Each of the three bedrooms has King beds making Shoestring a perfect choice for three couples or a romantic honeymoon. The upstairs bedroom is exceptional as it leads directly onto an extensive terrace. The terrace has a beautiful double sunbed and an outdoor hot-tub and stunning views of the gardens and beach.
Shoestring Villa comes with lots of modern technology. There is a flat screened Apple Television, a Sonos sound system and Wi-Fi throughout the house.
Last but not least, enjoy being pampered throughout the stay by the Housekeeper/Cook and the laundress.

All clients who stay at Shoestring Villa are exceptionally well cared for by the home’s Cook/Housekeeper and laundress. Both team members work six days per week with Sunday’s off.

Unavailable We have been travelling to Barbados for many years but this was our first time staying directly on Gibbs Beach. We absolutely loved it. It was by far the quietest and most private place we have stayed. Shoestring is extremely modern which we also loved and everything about the villa is pristine. The beach at Gibbs is beautiful and we were able to walk to Mullins and enjoy lunch at The Sea Shed Restaurant. We are happy to recommend it.
