Standing proudly on the exclusive palm fringed West Coast of the Caribbean is the magnificent resort of St Peters Bay. This 5 star complex boasts luxury 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units finished off to a very high standard and all with panoramic views of the crescent shaped beach and Caribbean Ocean beyond.
St Peters Bay is an ideal place to stay for both family and friends. The resort itself is wrapped around an amazing 160 foot free form swimming pool with thick cushioned sun loungers on hand for ultimate relaxation. You are steps from the palm fringed beach where you have a choice of snorkelling close to the reef or swimming either side of it. Water sports are available at very short notice and the resort itself has 2 jet skies for guests to rent.
2 private water taxies are available so guests can be whisked off to swim and feed the turtles at any time of the day. If you fancy lunch at a beachfront restaurant along the coast – they will be happy to drop you off and collect you. The recently renovated “Gazibo” restaurant is onsite and serves the finest cuisine from early morning till late in the evening. In addition to this you have a fully equipped fitness centre, spa, kids play centre, beach side hammock and Jacuzzi.
The resort is separated into 6 individual buildings and all have 3 bedroom units. The buildings are designed in such a way that 2 units can be joined to make a large 6 bedroom residence for larger families if needed. On the upper floors villas provides dazzling panoramic views of the ocean and breathtaking sunsets.
All the units are open plan design with large floor to ceiling sliding doors that lead to the incredible terrace area. Most of your time here will be spent soaking in the Caribbean sun, dining with family and friends and sipping freshly made cocktails while watching another sun setting. There is a lovely relaxing feel to these residences and all have a luxurious high finish to them which sets them apart from many of the others resorts.
These luxury Barbados villas comprise of Master bedroom that leads out onto the terrace. The second bedroom boasts a queen size bed and the third has twin beds that can be pushed together to make a double. All bedrooms come with large ensuite marble bathrooms and luxury products.

This quaint town is a short walk from St Peter’s Bay and boasts some great shops and café (such as the Orange Street Grocers). Most days you will find a local Bajans market selling all types of homemade jewellery and clothes. Speightstown also has some of the best fine dining restaurants such as The Fish Pot and 1396 at Port Ferdinand.
Holetown which is 7 km away from the resort is where you will find some of the best restaurants, shops and bars in Barbados. The recently built Lime Grove Centre http://www.limegrove.com/ comes with an abundance of designer shops that all offering tax free prices. There are brand names such as Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Ralph Lauren as well as a really good selection of trendy restaurants, bars and a cinema. On the other side of Holetown are the Chattel Shops, here you will find some really unique boutiques full of fashionable beachwear and gift items. There is also an excellent supermarket and pharmacy.
Mullins Beach is about a 5 minute walk from the resort. This is one of the best beaches on the island as well as the best beach bar. If you fancy an evening out that served great food and has a wonderful atmosphere as well and breathtaking sunsets ”Mullins Beach Bar” is the place to go. Barbados was wonderful and I thank you greatly for the recommendation of St. Peter's bay. Much better than Merlin bay. It was a Beautiful spot, very relaxing. Unit was spotless and the staff very accommodating. High marks go to Geoff (property manager), Franz and Reco (pool) and Alison (housecleaning). We had a second floor unit, in the future would probably like one a little higher but getting a 3bedroom at a 2br rate was extremely nice. Please keep me informed of any offers or specials regarding both St. Peter's bay and port st Charles (sister property). The only suggestion I would offer is to keep the gazebo bar open later..There was no where to get a cocktail on premises after 6pm. Also the gazebo only offered a set price lunch Other than that, I have no complaints. It was a great trip and I will recommend yourself and julie.

Dear Julie, I just wanted to thank you and Yvonne again for your help with our trip. We had a great time in Barbados. Everything was almost perfect. We appreciated the meet and greet at the airport which got us through immigration in no time. The only place I wouldn’t recommend is The Beach House restaurant. The setting is very nice and the service was friendly, but the food was not good. As for the other restaurants I’m not sure whether Daphne’s has reopened so we didn’t have a chance to eat there. We did eat at The Tides on Boxing Day which was very nice, if a little pricey for the 3-course menu provided. The other restaurants you suggested were all good. We had a very nice sail and snorkeling trip with Calabaza. It was a comfortable boat for the 12 passengers and the crew was very friendly. The snorkeling was not exceptional, but we did get to see the turtles. Saint Peters Bay was a lovely resort. The condo was perfect for 6 adults with the 3 king bedrooms with baths and the large living room and deck with a spectacular view. There were only a couple of small ways that it could be improved if you want to give them some feedback. While the kitchen was in general well equipped, it could use a full-sized coffee maker, a set of nesting glass bowls and a cookie sheet. The beach was lovely, but they seemed to have a shortage of beach towels and loungers. None of these were big issues, but could be easily addressed by the resort. St Peters Bay is a little gem for families. The resort, the location, the amenities and most of all the staff are what make it so special. There is a wide variety of activities available for families and kids love to go swim with the turtles, meet other children, play on the beach, swim in the communal pools etc. When I stayed in St Peters Bay this year. I really noticed how nice the staff were. Rico will take the children on his water taxi to swim with turtles while Franz in the Gazebo bar will keep the adults entertained. I would highly recommend St Peters Bay to a anyone looking for a family vacation to Barbados.
St. Peters Bay is most definitely one of my favourite properties..The accommodation is superb, seaviews & location are stunning, onsite facilities are brilliant - something for everyone.. But I especially loved the "feel" of the resort. The team there are superb. Geoff, Charlene, Franz & Rico on the water-taxi all go that extra way for guests. I'd highly recommend to families & to those who like a beach front location with facilities..
St Peters Bay is a well run modern family resort. The rooms are spotless, bright, airy and modern with elegant bathrooms and spacious closet. There is a great kids clubs, also 2 large swimming pools and water sports (water skiing,Banana Boat etc)for all. The water taxi can take you snorkeling with the turtles which should not be missed. St Peters bay is ideally situated with shops and great restaurant nearby. So whether you prefer to stay in and cook, go out to a restaurant or let "Gilbert" look after you in the resorts Gazabo Bar and grill, the choice is yours !! Overall an exceptional stay at St Peters Bay Resort.
