Still Fathoms is a truly luxury 5 bedroom beach front villa with private pool located directly on a lovely stretch of beach at Reed’s bay on the west coast of Barbados.
Still Fathoms is one of our most popular beach front villas at Villas Barbados and for very good reason. You enter the villa by a spectacular art filled hall way that stretches all the way to the terrace. But your eye will be instantly drawn to the gorgeous view of the sea and you will immediately feel that wonderful holiday vibe as you enter this lovely Barbados villa.
The décor of Still Fathoms has a wonderful balance between quintessential Caribbean and contemporary luxury. There are subtle tones of whites and creams which are off set with wonderful pops of colour from both local art and soft tropical furnishings. There is also a fabulous nautical theme throughout the villa.
The ground floor of the villa has a very modern kitchen and spacious living and television area which open directly onto the enormous terrace and stunning garden. The terrace and garden roll seamlessly down to the beach making Still Fathoms a wonderful villa for indoor outdoor living. The whole house is stunning but our clients of Villas Barbados especially love the terrace and garden. There is a beautiful outdoor living and dining area as well as a wet bar and plenty of super comfortable sun beds and sun umbrellas to enjoy the lovely Barbadian sun, read a book or just relax and enjoy the view and the wonderful soothing sounds of the sea.
As well as this beautiful area, our guests love relaxing by the plunge pool which is located to the side of the villa.
Each of the five bedrooms are situated on the second level of Still Fathoms. Both the Master bedroom and the second bedroom are positioned at the front with wonderful sea views and access to their own private balconies. Each of the bedrooms has a King or double beds, are fully air-conditioned and have lovely spacious en-suite bathrooms making Still Fathoms a wonderful choice for couples and groups of adults.
The location of still Fathoms is also hard to beat. Reed’s Bay is stunning and has many lovely swimming’s and snorkelling spots. It is also possible to take long walks along the beach in both directions so long as you don’t mind getting your feet wet on occasion! The beautiful and sophisticated town of Holetown is less than 10 minutes away. Here you will find a selection of both designer and artisan shops as well as a great choice of fine dining and casual dining options. If tradition is more you’re calling, then Speightstown is roughly the same distance from Still Fathoms in the northerly direction. Speightstown is more authentically Bajan with local shops and markets. You will also find a good selection of excellent restaurants here.
STAFF
You will be extremely well cared for when you stay at Still Fathoms. We have a team of three wonderful staff including our cook who will prepare 3 meals per day, our housekeeper and laundress. They each work 6 days per week. In addition, we have a villa manager available on request should you have any special requests. Villas Barbados also have a full and complementary pre arrival concierge service who will be delighted to organise your every need and wish in advance of your stay.
